Design Icon – Project

The Global Ambassador is a unique hotel project with all aspects of design, development, operation and ownership under one company—a singular vision about the experience of the guests. Sam Fox and Brian Frakes worked to create a seamless experience of everything from development and design to food and lodging. After securing the coveted corner, Fox assembled a team of his best design and build professionals to execute his vision. Months after starting design, COVID arrived, sending the team home to work.  Undaunted, they worked through masks and Zoom, and persevered. Emerging with a plan, the construction began.
