Design Icon – Interiors
Kaitlyn Wolfe
Kaitlyn Wolfe seems like a natural to be an interior designer. She grew up loving home design and remodeling, including building furniture and helping her father, an electrical engineer, work on projects. However, she took a detour when it came to education, studying biology and neuroscience. Wolfe ventured back to design with an education in business and construction management, training with Cathy Hayes, a Sources for Design Icon in architecture, who has a substantial portfolio in hospitality. Wolfe started her firm in 2016 as a licensed general contractor working on small projects, but as her other talents emerged, her design firm was born. As a creative who could design, build and execute her own projects, Wolfe was soon in demand. Her small projects turned to complete remodels, which led to new construction and development opportunities. Now in her 5,000-square-foot Scottsdale studio with her staff of 28, Wolfe provides both interior design and construction services to consumers and collaborates with other design professionals, always working to create the best possible design solutions for the best value.
