Design Icon – Project

Dancing Light is an Iconic home nestled into the Paradise Valley hillside with panoramic views of Camelback Mountain. The home was destined to be Icon.​ The homeowner wanted something special, a statement of design and quality. Brent Kendle from the Kendle Design Collaborative was chosen to find the vision for the home. He walked the six acre property and recommend 3 acres with south facing views of Camelback Mountain. He envisioned a home with expansive views and a natural connection to the desert site. It is his design vision for the roof that creates the homes distinctive signature style. Designed to represent shifting tectonic plates, the ceiling folds across the space as its’ geometric shapes radiate across the home. The warm wood finish creates the homes warmth and combines with the expansive retractable glazing to create a canopy for living in the natural desert. The pool integrates into the home and provides a refreshing view and creates the reflections that create Dancing Light.
